A Midsummer Night’s Dream Matinee

Dance Maker Academy's Advanced and Intermediate students will present variations from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. This ballet, adapted from William Shakespeare's play, is renowned for its accessible plot, memorable characters, and engaging humor, providing an enjoyable introduction to Shakespeare for a wide audience. The play's intricate blend of love, fantasy, and comedy, along with its exploration of themes such as love and illusion, contribute to its enduring popularity.

Additionally, there will be a variety of performances, including group and solo dances in classical and contemporary ballet, tap, jazz, and drama. This marks their 11th Annual Spring Performances at the Constantine Theatre on Main Street in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. The performances are scheduled to commence at 7 p.m. on May 17th and 3 p.m. on May 18th. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children.
